General terms and conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to the rental of vacation accommodations by SonnenQuartier to guests, as well as to all related services.


2. Conclusion of the Contract

An accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the accommodation has been booked and the booking has been confirmed by the landlord.

Bookings may be made via the website, booking portals, or in writing.


3. Prices and Payment

The prices stated at the time of booking apply.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Payment by bank transfer or credit card
  • Payment deadline as specified in the booking confirmation
  • Final payment no later than before arrival

For last-minute bookings, immediate payment may be required.


4. Arrival / Departure

Check-in from: 4:00 PM

Check-out by: 11:00 AM

Different times are possible subject to availability and prior arrangement.


5. Use of the Accommodation

The accommodation may only be used by the number of people booked.

The following are not permitted:

  • Parties / events
  • Disturbances of the peace
  • Subletting
  • Commercial use without consent


6. Cancellation

The cancellation policy specified at the time of booking applies.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Free of charge up to 14 days before arrival
  • 80% of the booking price thereafter
  • 100% in case of no-show

The guest reserves the right to prove that no damage or only minor damage was incurred.


7. Guest Liability

The guest is liable for damages caused by the guest, fellow travelers, or visitors.

Damages must be reported immediately.


8. Landlord Liability

The landlord is liable only for intentional acts and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.

The statutory provisions apply to items brought in by the guest.


9. Force Majeure

No claims for damages shall arise from events beyond the landlord’s control (e.g., natural disasters, official measures).


10. Final Provisions

German law applies.

The place of jurisdiction—to the extent permitted—is the lessor’s place of business.

Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
